Wolves Blunt the Blades

Ten years have passed since Wolves and Sheffield United two clubs were locked into battle at the Millennium Stadium, Cardiff in a play off final to decide who of the two will reach the English Premier League. Wolves made it on the day and both Clubs have spent some time in the top flight. It is difficult to comprehend how both clubs with history have yet again ended up in the third tier of English football.

Wolves seem to be doing their utmost to regain a higher league status. However, United are struggling for points. Kenny Jackett did express this week that their position belies their capability. You can see this and more comments in Jackett's interview by clicking here.

Wolves ran out 2-0 victors yesterday at Molineux and with Leyton Orient drawing, it means Wolves are still well within touching distance of top spot. You can watch highlights of the Wolves vs. Sheffield United match by clicking here.
